I can't even play freerolls these days because I'm preparing the contest to become an English teacher. I'll take place quite soon and is quite difficult. SoI think I'll just play one freeroll per day during the weekend maybe.

Yes, I wait until I'm cofident, then I'll win a $1 tournament.

And then I'll have a sufficient bankroll start. And I'll make it big!

I always have the spirit, but not so often the cards to go with it.

The Cards Yeeah - just like me at the moment it´s a struggle for me in every Tour./SnG just staying alive - but somehow I mostly manage to juuust slip into the money.... The problem with my game is I simply cannot bluff, and that is just anoying - I hate it!

Bluffing is too dangerous. Folding preflop makes better ranking than bluffing and barging you way through. When you fold, until the next hand begins you gain three places in the rankings because three bluffers lost a all-in lol.
Once I waas broke; going to lose next hand anyway because of the blind and I saw the chipleader loose and being kicked out of the table. So I ranked higher that a monster, jus because he was overconfident and thought he could win just pressurieing people with his huge stack.

That I see every day....And just like I told in an earlier post - about my $250 Guaranteed Tour. today.... I got in the money just because some "monkey*" thought he could bluff his way through with AK and a big chip Stack (10.000+) and lost it all on that hand - muhahaha - so I got 19th. place - 20 got paid... and he finished between 21-23 - LOL

I think that it is rare, but for once poker was FAIR. The guy got what he deserved. Usually if I'm close to the paid places I don't do a silly stuff like that. Even if there is not much money to be won, there is still the ranking.
How much did you win by the way if I may ask ?

Well - lol - not much M8 - but like you say, the most important for me is to know I did and can make the money in many tours.

the buy-in was $2.20 - and the win was, as I remember $3.49 - so only $1.29 to take with we... - But I made the Money and that´s the most important thing for me... Cause when I know I can finish in the money most of the times I play Tours. I will go play bigger tours. and hopefully win some more and greater prizes - For me Poker is a Hobbie where I can make a few bucks some times to keep my hobbie going - just for fun, nothing else....

Yes same here.
I'm more interested in the place for prestige than in the money.
Ranking first and getting $0 is more important to me and makes me prouder than ranking 10th with $20. I'm here for the competition more than for the money.

Sure that's why our freeroll will be so good. We'll be twenty-something to share a $100-$150 prizepool which means high probabilities for us to get some big money =)

win the last 2000 with another flush
call an all in and lose 1600
Play Aq flop A88 raise all in guy with 3800 calls he shows K8
the last 1000 i lose with Ak against 99 against 33 agains Q10... 99 flops a third 9

Good luck to you Marsman. Don't worry, it's just a freeroll so you lose nothing. I get tensed when I play money tournaments.

Did you raise the AQ pre-flop? - if you didn´t, you played it wrong...

If you did raise pre-flop, you played it like you where suppose to....

But yeah it hurts, to loose so much and sometimes you make mistakes and thats also a part of poker...

yeah i raised it pre flop xD because i ssee so often that unraised AK lose against 72 in teh BB

No it doesn't. Out of the $20 I just deposited. I've already lost $5. Maybe I'm not good enough a player ta play real money..

don't say that ^^ you also learn from day to day ^^ i think the best way to practize is to paly a few Mtt for example freerolls xD

Well I don´t know if your good enough, haven´t seen you play, but i can give you a few tips, but you might know ém already:

1. Only play good cards!
2. know your "outs", if your on a draw and wan´t to call a bet!
3. Know when to fold, know when to call!
4. Value bets!
5. Read your opponents, (who´s the agressive one ect.) and decide how to out-play him/her...!!! Trap play is always a good thing...
6. Think Forward (what´s the other players gonna do if....)

After 20 mins. of play - if you can´t spot the butt-head - your the butt-head.... lol
